Good news...

We received your application.

We're reviewing it as we speak.
We think it's important that you know how we handle things.
Please…take a second to read.

Step 1: Screening

This is where you are right now.
Our Membership Team is looking at your application as you read this.

They will look over the info you submitted, your LinkedIn, your company's website - really anything they can get their hands on!
They're seeing if:

  1. Your experience and expertise is clear.
  2. Your budget/income expectations align with what we know this work requires.
  3. There is evidence that values connect to ours.

If the starts align, you will get an invitation via email for an interview. If things aren't quite right, we will also reach out via email.

Step 2: Interview

If our Membership Team thinks that you're a good fit "on paper," they'll set up a call with you.

This is not a sales call. It's an interview, vetting call. They don't decide who gets into the System & Soul Coaching Community on their own (we'll address in a few more sentences down).

During this interview, they want to hear how you think, what you're building (or planning to), and get a sense of your energy and values system. Our Membership Team has interviewed hundreds of coaches--you will be in good hands!

Step 3: Community Veto or Thumbs Up

After the interview, you may be introduced to other coaches or members of our executive team who get a chance to veto your application. Why?

Because we are aligned as a community to a set of values, organizational bets, and a culture we want to uphold. If someone sees or has an experience with you that is outside of those boundaries, they can block you from joining. It keeps our community high-trust and growing in the right direction.

Step 4: The Invite

If there are no objections, our founders (Benj and McKenzie) will do a final review to decide if you're a good fit for the community.

If it's all systems go - they'll click the invite button and boom - you'll get an email.

You'll have 10 days to accept and pay your training deposit.

The invite typically comes within two weeks after your interview, but is dependent on collecting all of the information and feedback needed for our process.

Step 4: You're In

You will get instant access to the digital community where you can network with our member coaches, start attending coach events, access our digital coach tool library, and begin the pre-work for your training.

It sounds like a lot, but we promise we try to keep it simple and straightforward.

Once we've established your training date, you'll also receive details for that event.

This may all feel very formal (and it kind of is), but it's the upfront work that keeps our community healthy, whole, and connected that we aim to protect. Once you're in, you'll experience a ton of open-handedness, warmth, and support for the journey ahead.

What our coaches are saying

eric jones

Eric Jones

"When people show interest in becoming a coach for System & Soul, I tell them that being a coach is just as amazing as a company that implements System & Soul. Why? Because the SOUL is what makes everything thrive. Thanks for building a soul-first company!"

dana collins

Dana Collins

"What drew me to System & Soul was the perfect balance of structure and soul—and the freedom to flex the framework to meet each client where they are. Whether I’m working with a small team, an executive leadership group, or front-line staff, I can adapt the tools to create clarity, alignment, and momentum. What’s equally life-giving is the community of fellow coaches. It’s rare to find a group so full of heart—people who lead with purpose, genuinely want to make an impact, and show up with openness, humility, and kindness. It's not just a coaching system, but a tribe that inspires me."

"Making the choice to build our consultancy around System and Soul was easy. There's no other operating system for small businesses that combines both the accountability of strong systems and a deep orientation to build the business on the foundation of healthy people and culture tools. We've seen amazing results for our clients using System and Soul and we value continued iteration and creation of new tools in the S2 toolbox to help us as coaches."

robin phelps-raymond

Robin Phelps-Raymond

"The decision to go all-in with S2 was because the framework integrates the culture with the system. There are LOTS of other systems frameworks, but no one I saw with the culture part integrated AND with the vision for how to continue to grow the framework over time."

tim sloane

Tim Sloane

"I've been a part of a few groups like S2, and this, by far, is the best I have experienced in terms of connection and value."

Frequently Asked Questions

How do System & Soul Coaches sell their services?

We don't sell. We create value.

Most of our coaches have been successful with one thing: building relationships. Whether it’s one to many or one on one, the key is talking to people, LISTENING to their problems, and offering to help them with a solution that fits their needs.

This year we launched a new approach that is seeing a 30-50% conversion rate called a Strategy Sprint Workshop. This approach allows our coaches to offer value and help to their prospects before ever “selling” to them.

What's the biggest barrier coaches experience starting out?

Confidence, experience and hustle.

People hire a coach from us when they understand that the company/organization they are currently operating in needs greater accountability, alignment, and strategic direction. They will buy from you if they can trust you to help deliver those things and then you do an awesome job giving them the space to do it well.

A big factor is if you have current credibility within a network that you can sell to or you are starting from scratch.
What makes a coach successful (quickly)?
  • Hustle - actively making moves to generate business and engage their network with the System & Soul message. If something doesn't work, they pivot quickly and keep moving.
  • Riz (Confidence and Charisma) - inwardly sound, others focused, and has undeniable magnetism
  • Experience - Operating System or otherwise, entrepreneurial or executive, proven track record for getting results and being a credible leader.
Who “fits” in the System & Soul Coach community?
  • People with the qualities above (hustle, “riz”, and experience)
  • People who resonate with and live out these values:
    • Stay Grounded: on the journey to become more secure and settled, holistically healthy, and inwardly sound
    • Do the work: ready to get smart stuff done
    • Champion dignity: valuing the inherent worth of others
How long is the coach training/certification and where is it held?
  • Training is 2.5 days

What are the ongoing obligations of a coach?
  • We do not require a minimum number of clients or sessions in order to stay active as a coach.
  • We encourage coaches to stay connected through our weekly calls and quarterly refuels.
  • The coaches who get the most out of our program are active in our community and doing ongoing work to build their business.

How does System & Soul help coaches with marketing and business development?

All business development efforts are the responsibility of the coach. However, we (System & Soul) are continuously building marketing content to create brand awareness with our audience.

  • System & Soul provides ample marketing and sales collateral to help with events, social media and online presence.
  • When we are able, we will co-invest with coaches on event sponsorships where the coach is actively sharing and promoting System & Soul by leading a breakout talk, keynote, or hosting a booth.

We also provide six months of sales and business development training for all new coaches as soon as they begin their work with us.

Who are ideal clients for System & Soul Coaches

Most often our clients are growth-stage businesses. They have reached a new level of complexity as their organization increases head count, expands locations, etc. and their business requires a new approach to be effective.

Most organizations we work with have at least 20 employees and 2 million dollars in annual revenue. We also support clients with 1000s of employees and 100s of millions in revenue.

These clients span all industries as well. We serve NPOs and for-profit businesses in fields like engineering, technology, home services, manufacturing, ministry, marketing, legal, and education.

What makes System & Soul different from other operating systems?

Most operating systems teach structure.
System & Soul teaches structure with humanity.

We help teams build better processes and better relationships — because growth only lasts when people are aligned, engaged, and healthy.

Our framework connects the System that drives clarity and execution with the Soul that drives motivation and culture. We never separate the two — and that plays out in how our coaches are trained to guide their clients through each tool and exercise. Every conversation is designed to strengthen both performance and people.

Another key difference is the inherent flexibility of our approach.
We meet clients and teams where they are and with what they need.
We never impose tools or conversations a team isn’t ready for. Instead, we adapt the rhythm, focus, and pace to fit the team’s reality — creating lasting change, not temporary compliance.

System & Soul also gives coaches an expansive toolkit — over 45+ exercises, conversations, and assessments curated and created for quarterly coaching. This library allows coaches to tailor every engagement for relevance, meeting leaders in real moments of growth, tension, and transformation.

At its core, System & Soul is more than a set of tools. It’s a way of leading that connects clarity with culture, accountability with alignment, and structure with soul.

What kinds of results do System & Soul Coaches help create?

Leaders report seeing:

  • Sharper focus and faster decision-making.

  • Healthier meetings and stronger communication.

  • Real accountability and restored trust.

  • A team that actually enjoys working together again.

We’re not just helping teams execute — we’re helping them become aligned, resilient, and confident in who they are and where they’re going.

But don't take it from us. Hear it from them.
